With the success of the inaugural EMT Basic class this past spring and the pressing need to arm the county with additional medical professionals, KenTenn EMS will facilitate another EMT Basic program in the Spring of 2021. Applications are now available and will continue being accepted through Thursday, November 12, 2020 (extended past original date of Monday, November 2, 2020).
The program is a collaborative effort with the Four Rivers Career Academy located in Hickman, KY where classes are held. Applications are open to anyone 17 years of age or older who possess a valid Driver's License. High school seniors who meet this requirement are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to personnel of ambulance services, fire departments, law enforcement agencies, rescue squads and residents of Fulton County, Kentucky. All applicants must submit to a background check prior to acceptance and drug screen following admission.

Program interviews will be conducted on Tuesday, November 17 & Wednesday November 18, 2020. Interview candidates will be assigned an interview time on one of these two days promptly following the application deadline. All applicants will be notified of admission decision by email or phone on or before Friday, December 4, 2020.
